DESCRIPTION DE LA COURSE:

We want to share the UTMB® adventure with you, no matter where you are in the world. #UTMB4YOU
We invite you to join us and take part in the Virtual Race to experience the UTMB® adventure. To become a finisher, you must complete 50 km in one go with as much elevation gain as possible.

About UTMB®:

Completing a tour of Mont-Blanc in less than two days - that's the basic concept. But the UTMB® is more than that; it is an incredible and global experience. Imagine running in the moonlight, alongside the Aiguille de Bionnassay and crossing the Col du Bonhomme. At sunrise, you pass the Col de la Seigne and enter the magic of the Val Vény which is dominated by the Noire de Peuterey and the glaciers that come down from the Mont-Blanc. You then reach the Val Ferret, protected by the Dent du Géant and the Grandes Jorasses, before tipping over into Switzerland and enjoying its well-preserved environment. Cross Bovine and the Tseppes. Then, facing the Aiguille Verte, the vertical of the Drus and the majesty of the Mont-Blanc, plunge towards the arrival in the heart of Chamonix.

Rules of Virtual Race

To become a Finisher, you must run 50km with the most elevation gain you can. The Virtual Race must be completed by walking/running outdoors. The Virtual Race has to be completed in one go.

Ranking

The ranking is calculated on the overall timing based on the GPX tracks provided between the first run (start) and the last run (finish). Thus, only runners who choose to complete the Virtual Race in one single run will be selected. In the event of a tie, the activity time (= time in motion) will be taken into consideration.

Liability and insurance

You are responsible: For your own race and GPX / tracking system. All runners participate under their own responsibility: Physical activity requires good training and all participants declare that they are healthy and fit for the challenge.
