Hanroad Vanlife Challenge

Hanroad, in partnership with UTMB^® GROUP, offers the Hanroad Vanlife Challenge as part of the UTMB^® for the Planet operation.

• 70km to be completed in a maximum of 7 days

Runners can take part in the Hanroad Vanlife Challenge wherever they are, with their own tracking solution. They can upload their activities or GPX tracks on the official platform and find their results on this same platform.

Each participant is responsible for his/her own race and GPS / tracking system.

This is not an official competition, it is a virtual, individual and free operation. Consequently all participants participate under their own responsibility for any damage whatsoever. Physical activity requires adapted training and all participants must formally declare their state of fitness for the challenge. By subscribing to the operation, participants declare that they have been informed of this point and agree to participate under their full responsibility. They release the organisation of the Challenge from all responsibility for any claims whatsoever, concerning any personal injury, death or property damage that may occur during their participation in the UTMB® for the Planet Hanroad Vanlife Challenge.

To be eligible for the draw:

• The Challenge must be completed on foot and outdoors.
• The Challenge can be carried out in as many stages as you wish.
• You must have held a light vehicle driving licence (light vehicles) for at least 3 years at the date of taking over the Vehicle and be aged at least 23 years old.
• Staff of the organizing companies are not eligible.

For the Challenge, a week in a Hanroad van will be up for grabs. The winner will be drawn at random from among all participants who complete the Challenge.

The prize is subject to availability from 31/08/2020 and must be used before 31/07/2021.

• Be able to travel in metropolitan France to receive the van by his own means to an Avis Car Away agency (vehicle available at the agencies in Paris, Marseille, Grenoble and Ajaccio), depending on the availability of the van.
• Possess proof of identity ; have held a driving licence for light vehicles for at least 3 years at the date of taking over the Vehicle; and be at least 23 years of age.

The winner will be drawn on August 25th by Hanroad, the organizing company, and will be designated after verification of his/her eligibility to win the prize. The designated participant will be contacted by e-mail by the Organizer. If the participant does not respond within one month of the sending of this e-mail, he will be deemed to have forfeited his prize and the prize will remain the property of the Organizer. By accepting the prize, the winner authorizes the Organizer to use his/her surname, first name, as well as the indication of his/her city and department of residence in any publicity-promotional event, on the Organizer's website and on any affiliated site or medium, without this use giving rise to any rights or remuneration other than the prize won.

The standard rental conditions apply.

The geolocation data that the organization may collect will be used only for the purpose of validating the performance achieved and will be considered as personal data. In this sense, they are subject to the same rules as other personal data in terms of access rights for modification and retention period.

Participation in the Hanrod Vanlife Challenge of UTMB® for the Planet implies the express and unreserved acceptance of these rules, of the protection of personal data and of any instructions addressed by the organiser to the participants.

According to the French law "Informatique et liberté" of 6 August 1978, you have the right to access and rectify any information concerning you. This information is only used within the organization and concerns technical data such as your e-mail address. The organisation does not use your data for any other purpose. In accordance with the law, each participant has the right to access and rectify information concerning him/her.
